PB: Haqua du Lot Herminium from The World God Only Knows
Bio: An appreciate mage that resides in the magical capital city of Vylofnir, Viivi is a happy-go-lucky girl learning the art of magic in the Kielnov Academy. Master wizards of the academy found that she was gifted in the art of what they can best describe as 'portal magic', an art that is typically learned by mages far later in their lifetime if at all. As she's still in training, she's able to hop around short distances and even duck into a small pocket dimension for a time where she can store her belongings. She also quickly came proficient in the art of trickery magic, allowing her to create things in smoke and reflections, while learning to become versed in the art of light magic.
Eventually deciding to leave Vylofnir to go learn more about what the world has to offer outside of what she learned in books, she took up adventuring to have a more hands-on approach with her magic training, feeling that she could learn to do much more outside of the academy and confident enough that she could manage on her own.
... which, of course, was a terrible idea.
Her luck was gone like a puff of smoke, learning first hand of just how woefully unprepared and how surprisingly incompetent she really was for the journey. She quickly learned that some cities outside of Vylofnir didn't view magic as highly and had a more narrow minded view of it and seeing it just as tacky performance acts. With her money constantly depleted in trying to get by, Viivi would have to lower herself to perform these party tricks for the simple folk. At night she would be forced to use her portal magic to sneak into an empty room of inns to sleep for the night and escape away unnoticed in the morning (though her guilty conscience would take her back to the inn in the mornings to offer to do jobs for them, without ever saying she may have snuck in).
Her current aim is to get enough money to return to Vylofnir (turns out, leaving there was a mistake) and every time she gets the money to make the trip, something always seems to happen which involves her losing that money and she has to start the process all over again, once again lowering her and her magic ability to menial tasks and party tricks just to be able to eat.
